I brought it home and ran it through the dishwasher, but it didn't remove the the rings or the "grunge". I remembered how great our shower turned out after attacking it with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, and I thought "what do I have to lose?"
I used a new eraser that I had on hand, and within seconds the ring was gone!
| Horrible picture, I'm sorry. The clean part is to the right, with the ring still over to the left. |

Photo mugs
ReplyDeleteI have a wonderful mug that I keep at work for drinking water, but during wintertime months season it also increases as a tea cup. I rinse it manually throughout the weeks time, but it gets very weighty use.
Baking soda is a great stain remover if the magic eraser should be unavailable.
ReplyDeleteMagic Erasers are just melamine foam, which is waaay cheaper if you buy it through Amazon (or probably available in other places too). I clean my tea mugs with a salted lemon peel. God only knows why but this works. You have to really scrub but it will get it clean!
