I tell you that to let you know why, when I'm about to show you another quilt that I made, it looks pretty much like this one. And this one.
When I learn something new, I wear it out until I'm ready to learn something else!
Troy's cousin is pregnant with her first child, a little girl they're going to name Jordyn. Her baby shower was on Sunday (it was full of Cinnabon and cupcakes. A real temptation for someone who wasn't eating wheat!), and I made a baby quilt as my gift. I also contributed Jack's new favorite book that has become the birthday and shower staple gift from me.
| And before my friend Mary can make a snide comment, yes, I am 1,000 feet tall. |
The fabric of course was washable. The mom of a GERD baby tends to be practical in her gift giving. This one was a lot easier than the king quilt I made recently. I hope it is something that will be well loved by both the new parents and new baby in just a few short months!
I love you Jordyn.
Love Aunt Sarah

That turned out so cute! You did such a great job. Yes, stay away from King size! And yea, you are pretty damn tall!

Very lovely!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very pretty quilt! So, your husband must be tall, too? My son is 6' tall and married a girl that must be one or two inches taller than he is. She is nice, and that is what counts. You seem nice!
ReplyDeleteHa, I just now saw the post where you stated your height!
